Mobilize College Legislative Internship Program is intended to offer Asian American Studies, Labor Studies, and Ethnic Studies
students an opportunity to work as part of a legislative team on issues impacting the community.

Program Description:
Interns will gain valuable insights into how changes are made on the legislative level. The learning experience is hands-on and the work may include researching policy issues, writing speeches, organizing town halls, responding to constituent inquiries, attending legislative and community events.
The completion of the program will be celebrated at a luncheon in conjunction with our Mobilize Youth Leadership Program graduation. Mobilize interns will have an opportunity to network with our alumnus, program supporters, elected officials, and community leaders.
Hours: Weekdays during business hours
Selection Process:
Seven students will be selected to participate in our internship program with placement in a congressional or state legislative office.
While the program targets certain majors, the application is open for college students who are interested in learning about the democratic process and particularly those who demonstrate an interest in changemaking.

* Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and the governor’s order to shelter in place, our Mobilize College Legislative Internship Program is canceled until further notice. We are actively monitoring the pandemic and will provide updates as soon as it is possible.
